Monday 01/02/21
A widespread frost on Monday morning. High pressure will be to the east with low pressure to the west of Ireland. Breezy across Ireland and rather cloudy with some outbreaks of patchy rain. Most of the UK should be dry with broken cloud and the best of any sunshine in the east. Rain moves into the far southwest later. A cold day at 1 to 6C for most, though southwestern parts of the UK and Ireland could see highs of 8 to 10C.

Tuesday 02/02/21
Low pressure west of Ireland will be pushing fronts east on Tuesday. This is going to be bringing heavy periods of rain and strong winds through many areas. A period of snow could affect northern England and southern Scotland as the rain meets colder air. Drier in northern Scotland and becoming drier in Ireland as well as southwest England and Wales. Highs at 2 to 6C in northern areas, 8 to 12C elsewhere.

Wednesday 03/02/21
Low pressure again in control through Wednesday. Cloud and rain as well as some sleet and snow across Scotland. Showers in England and Wales, some of them are heavy in the west. Further showers affecting western Ireland but sunny spells in the east. Highs at 3C in northern Scotland, 9 or 10C in favoured spots in England and Ireland.

Thursday 04/02/21
Colder air driving back through Scotland and northern England on Thursday may bring some wintry showers to eastern coastal regions. Rain affecting Ireland, Wales and southern parts of England. This may be locally heavy. Highs at 4 to 8C for most, 9 or 10C in the West Country.

Friday 05/02/21
A bright day for Friday as an easterly flow develops. It will be cool for all areas and there is a risk of some wintry showers, most of these affecting northern and eastern Scotland. Best of the sunshine in the west. Highs at 1 to 5C.

Saturday 06/02/21
High pressure to the northeast maintains an easterly flow into the weekend. A bright day with a scattering of wintry showers for eastern coastal areas. The best of the sun to the west. Staying chilly with highs of just 1 to 4C.
