Issued: 0900 Thursday 10th January 2018
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A mixed week with temperatures close to average in the south but becoming cold in the north

A mixed week ahead. Low pressure will generally be to the north of the country with higher pressure to the south. This brings some cloud and rain to the north, although tending to be drier in the south. Breezy through the weekend and into next week. Perhaps colder into the middle stages of next week, especially in Scotland.
