Fresher in the north and west, staying warm and muggy further south. Thunderstorms from later on.

A more mixed weather week coming up with fresher conditions towards the north and west, but staying warm and muggy further south and southeast. A thundery breakdown is expected from late Wednesday onwards affecting southern and eastern areas mainly. Staying mixed at the weekend and into next week.

Thursday 17/6/21
High pressure to the west of Ireland, low pressure over the eastern parts of England and affecting most of the British Isles. This brings a muggy, damp day with thundery outbreaks of rain, mainly in the south and east. Misty and murky in places too. Ireland and western areas of England, Wales and Scotland will be fresher and brighter. Highs at 23C in the far southeast of England, more widely 14 to 18C.

Friday 18/6/21
Some further outbreaks of thundery rain on Friday across southern, into central and eastern parts of England. Higher pressure in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland as well as pushing into Wales will be bringing drier, brighter weather here, with this drier weather over most of northern England too. Highs near 15C to 19C.
 

Saturday 19/6/21
Fronts in western areas on Saturday bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain here. More eastern parts are likely to be drier for a time with broken cloud and some sunny spells, however, there is the risk of showers, possibly heavy, pushing northwards later. Highs at 15 to 21C.

Sunday 20/6/21
More thundery rain on an area of low pressure continues to push northwards on Sunday, currently looking to affect southern England into parts of Wales and up towards eastern areas of England. Sunny spells and more scattered showers further north and west. Temperatures at 15 to 21C.

Monday 21/6/21
The low pressure sits over the UK and Ireland on Monday allowing for showers to affect many areas, some heavy and possibly thundery. Some sunny spells too, these best across western areas. Highs at 16 to 22C.

Tuesday 22/6/21
Tuesday looks to continue with the UK and Ireland sitting within a trough allowing for showers to continue but also some sunny spells about. Highs at 16 to 22C.
