More mixed than recently with scattered showers and staying warm
More mixed conditions through the coming week than we experienced through the early part of July. There will be plenty of dry weather but also showers. The showers tending to be fairly well scattered. Temperatures may become warmer too.

Thursday 19/7/18 A ridge of high pressure through the UK and Ireland on Thursday. Broken cloud but some decent spells of sunshine too. Thicker cloud will drift into western Scotland and western Ireland later. Isolated showers in central and southern England but dry for most. Temperatures at 26C in eastern England, 17C in western Scotland and Ireland.
Friday 20/7/18 Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Friday with a front slipping south. This brings cloud and some outbreaks of rain through Scotland, then into northern England and Northern Ireland. The rest of England and Wales are likely to be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 25C in southeast England, 14C in northern Scotland.
Saturday 21/7/18 The remains of the front may be across the far south of England on Sunday taking some patchy rain with it. Brighter weather follows front the north with sunny spells. A few showers affecting western Ireland and western Scotland. Highs around 24C in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland.
Sunday 22/7/18 A ridge of high pressure is expected to affect much of the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This brings dry conditions with sunny spells fo many. Thicker cloud in northwest Scotland with the risk of some spots of rain here. Highs at 19 to 27C.
Monday 23/7/18 The ridge of high pressure persists on Monday. It is likely to be staying dry with sunny spells. Thicker cloud again affecting northwest Scotland where there could be some rain at times. Highs at 20 to 28C.
Tuesday 24/7/18 Fair weather hanging on across southern and eastern parts of the country through Tuesday. There are hints of coud and perhaps some rain associated with some weak fronts affecting more western areas. Highs at 19 to 26C.
