Remaining Very Dry For Many
Perhaps More Unsettled Late On

Remaining very warm and very dry for most of this period but perhaps more unsettled late on, still warm but less-so next week than of late.

Tuesday 10/07/18
It is high pressure that will remain the dominant feature maintaining the prolonged run of dry weather across many areas of the UK through the day on Tuesday. Sunny spells, perhaps prolonged are again expected across all areas, despite some variable cloud. Winds more N or NE'ly and, overall, it will be cooler and fresher for many from Tuesday onwards despite still remaining warm or very warm, especially in the south and west, but the very high temperatures more recently won't be repeated. Highs 18C to 24C.

Wednesday 11/07/18
At the moment little change in the forecast by next Wednesday with still high pressure the dominant feature across much of the UK, primarily centred just to the west and this maintaining more of a N or NE'ly breeze, especially in the south and east. Still plenty of sunshine for many, despite variable cloud but the N or NE'ly breeze perhaps bringing some low cloud into eastern areas of England overnight and first thing. Highs 17C to 24C.

Thursday 12/07/18
A lot of dry weather is still forecast to be maintained by next Thursday at the moment despite a risk of some locally heavy and perhaps thundery showers developing in places, but perhaps particularly across south-west England in association with the potential development of low pressure from the south-west. Otherwise remaining warm or locally very warm, but cooler in the north and east than compared with the south and west. Highs 17C to 23C.

Friday 13/07/18
Uncertainties by next Friday but with the exception of a few isolated showers in the far south and south-west it does look as though it will still be high pressure that will remain dominant maintaining settled conditions and also the prolonged run of very dry weather too. Plenty of sunny spells, despite variable cloud, but still with perhaps overnight low cloud moving into eastern areas of England. Pleasantly warm. Highs 17C to 24C.

Saturday 14/07/18
Pressure may begin to slowly fall by next Saturday but certainly uncertainties, but may be a greater risk of a few heavy or thundery showers breaking out across parts of England and Wales, otherwise there is still likely to be quite a lot of dry weather with some bright or sunny spells too. Remaining pleasantly warm, especially in the south and west. Highs 18C to 24C.

Sunday 15/07/18
By next Sunday there may well be more of a pronounced change in the weather starting to take place as high pressure finally declines and allows lower pressure to arrive to then lead to a greater risk of some rain or showers developing, perhaps particularly so across more northern and western areas, but there is a lot of uncertainty over this at the moment. Highs 17C to 24C.
