Unsettled with rain and showers together with string winds

Low pressure continues to bring unsettled weather during the week ahead. There will be frequent showers or spells of rain. The rain could be especially heavy on Friday as strong winds spread north with a risk of gales. Remaining mixed next week with further showers, some heavy. Feeling cool in the wind.

Saturday 8/6/19
Low pressure drifting into Scotland on Saturday. Heavy periods of rain in Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. The rain more showery in eastern Scotland. Windy with sunshine and showers in southern England and the south of Wales as well as southern Ireland. Highs at 11 to 17C.

Sunday 9/6/19
Another area of low pressure drifts north on Sunday taking further periods of rain with it. Showers follow to the south, some heavy and a risk of some more persistent rai to the southwest. Fair in the far north of Scotland. Tops at 1C in northern Scotland, 20C in southeast England.
 

Monday 10/6/19
Low pressure continues to affect the UK and Ireland. Showers possibly longer spells of rain over central and southern England. The showers more scattered further north with good spells of sunshine. Tops at 12 to 20C.

 
 
 

Tuesday 11/6/19
Low pressure to the east of the UK on Tuesday, higher pressure to the west. There could be showers and rain in the east, but brighter to the west with more isolated showers. Highs at 14 to 16C.

Wednesday 12/6/19
The flow remains northerly on Wednesday. This brings sunny spells and showers, a few of them heavy. Highs at 14 to 18C.

Thursday 13/6/19
Low pressure east of the UK on Thursday bringing northwesterly winds. Rain in northern and eastern Scotland as well as eastern England. Drier and brighter in the west and south. Highs at 14 to 19C.
