Turning colder with sunshine and showers, windy with a risk of gales in Scotland

The warm weather is going to give way to much colder conditions by Wednesday. There will be showers and a strong north to northwest wind affecting all areas. Most of the showers, and perhaps even some longer spells of rain, affecting central and northern Scotland. Drier in the far south with sunny spells.

Thursday 4/6/20
Low pressure ot the east of the UK on Thursday. This brings a northwest flow. Sunny spells and showers, feeling chilly as well. Most of the showers will be in northern areas and across northern parts of Ireland, together with northwest England and north Wales. More central and southern areas tending to be drier with the best of the sunshine here. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, 17C in southwest England.


Friday 5/6/20
Little change on Friday with low pressure to the east. The winds stay as a cool northwesterly, blowing showers or even some longer spells of rain into northern and eastern Scotland and perhaps northeast England. The showers more scattered elsewhere, but still an odd heavier one. Drier in southern England. Tops at 10C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England.
 


Saturday 6/6/20
Low pressure drifts close to eastern Scotland on Saturday. It may be wet and windy in central and northern Scotland. Rain could also affect Northern Ireland later. Elsewhere sunny spells and scattered showers, most on windward facing coasts and hills. Dry and sunny in the south. Cool for all with highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 19C in southern England.
 


Sunday 7/6/20
Low pressure will be in the North Sea on Sunday. A mix of sunshine and showers for all, most of them in northern Scotland and along eastern coasts of Scotland and England. Showers too in Ireland. Highs at 11 to 16C.


Monday 8/6/20
Low pressure remains to the east as a ridge of higher pressure builds in the west on Monday. Sunny spells for all, although still some showers in northern and eastern areas. Tending to be drier in the west. Highs at 13 to 19C.

Tuesday 9/6/20
Rain in Ireland and the west of the UK on Tuesday. Drier in the east with some good spells of sunshine here. Highs at 14 to 21C.
