Staying dry and sunny, becoming very warm or hot
Dry weather is gong to be dominating the weather situation across the UK and Ireland again through the coming week. There will be a few showers developing on Thursday, but generally high pressure is in control. A little less warm in the coming days before temperatures pick up again to become very warm or hot.

Friday 6/7/18 A slack pressure flow affects the UK and Ireland on Friday. There will be sunny spells for most areas and it should be dry. Sea breezes developing in the afternoon with further spells of sunshine. Isolated showers form in the afternoon over hills of Ireland, Wales and eastern England. Highs at 22 to 29C.
Saturday 7/7/18 High pressure dominates again on Saturday. The chance of some patchy low cloud on eastern coasts but generally sunny for all. Generally dry but the chance of an isolated shower forming on hills in the afternoon. Highs at 23 to 29C.
Sunday 8/7/18 High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This brings another fair day with sunny spells. It should be dry for all. A little moe cloud affecting northwest Scotland from time to time. Highs at 22 to 28C.
Monday 9/7/18 Little change on Monday with a ridge of high pressure extending through the country. This brings more fair conditions with plenty of sunshine. Some cloud may again affect the far northwest of Scotland. Highs at 22 to 27C.
Tuesday 10/7/18 A weak warm front passing through Scotland on Tuesday bringing some cloud in Scotland and patchy drizzle on hills. Other areas will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Highs at 19 to 25C.
Wednesday 11/7/18 A weak front lying through Scotland bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain, most in the west. For most of southern Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland the day is likely to be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 19 to 26C.
