Staying mixed, perhaps very warm in the southeast next week

Friday 21/6/19
Low pressure stays to the north of Scotland on Friday, higher pressure to the south. Showers, mostly in northern Scotland, will be blowing from west to east. Fewer showers in England, Wales and Ireland with longer spells of sunshine here. Breezy in northern Scotland with tops at 11C in northern Scotland, 20C in southeast England.

Saturday 22/6/19
High pressure remains through much of England, Wales and Scotland. This should allow for a fair day with sunny spells. Low pressure to the southwest of Ireland with the threat of some showers developing. Isolated showers could develop in eastern parts of the UK too. Highs at 13C in northern Scotland, 18 to 22C in much of England and Wales, perhaps to 23C in more southern areas.

Sunday 23/6/19
Sunday remains uncertain. Scotland and northern England, as well as Northern Ireland are likely to be mostly dry, although isolated showers could develop. There is a risk of some rain moving into central and southern England and Wales. Highs at 16 to 22C.

Monday 24/6/19
Lower pressure is probably going to be affecting the country on Monday. This leads to a more mixed day with most of any rain in the west and south. Highs at 17 to 21C.

Tuesday 25/6/19
Lower pressure in control again on Tuesday although confidence is low in where this may be positioned. The day is likely to be one of sunny spells and scattered showers, most in the west and south. Warm again at 26C in the southeast, 19C in Ireland.

Wednesday 26/6/19
Sunshine and showers again on Wednesday, most to the north. Fewer showers in southern areas with sunny spells. Tops near 19 to 25C.
