Temperatures nothing special

The first 10 days of June will be dominated by slack low pressure, resulting in a fairly unsettled pattern, although with variations from day to day. Showers will be common, heavy and perhaps thundery at times. Some days may see more organised rain, but there will also be days which are drier overall.

Wednesday 05/06/18
Slack pressure influences the British Isles. A mix of sunshine and scattered showers. Many places may well escape largely dry, whilst locally showers may be more frequent for periods, most widespread by afternoon. Some sunshine. Winds will be light, with some sea breezes around the coasts. Temperatures 14 to 17C, or up to 20C in the southeast.
 

Thursday 06/06/18
A very uncertain situation for detail. Pressure stays on the low side, and areas of rain or showers are likely to pivot slowly across the country. A risk of some persistent rain more widely, whilst some places will escape with a mix of sunshine and just a few showers. Brisker winds in places. Highs 15 to 20C.
 

Friday 07/06/18
Things may become more slack once again, with just a scattering of showers, again developing most widely into the afternoon. Locally heavy downpours could become slow-moving. Sunny spells. Winds mostly light. Highs 16 to 20C.

A fairly unsettled trend continues, with low pressure nearby. Rain or showers affecting most places, but some areas may escape drier for periods. Temperatures 15 to 21C.

Sunday 09/06/18
A mixed pattern stays with us, and further rain or showers are expected. Sunny spells and fresh temperatures. Highs 14 to 20C.

Monday 10/06/18
Little overall change, with sunshine and showers most likely the ongoing theme. Highs 15 to 21C.
