Monday 14/09/20
Staying dry with a good deal of sunshine for most on Monday as high pressure over the continent extends towards the British Isles. Temperatures becoming very warm in the south too. Northern and western parts of Scotland and Ireland will see more in the way of cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle and rain. The best of the sun over southeast England. High temperatures at 19 to 28C.

Tuesday 15/09/20
A breakdown in the weather starts from Tuesday with an area of low pressure arriving from the southwest. This brings the threat of showers to western areas as well as cloudier conditions overall. Staying drier further east with some bright or sunny spells initially. Staying very warm too with highs at 18 to 28C.

Wednesday 16/09/20
Confidence in this part of the forecast is low at the moment. It looks like Wednesday will be a rather mixed day. Feeling muggy with thundery outbreaks of rain at times. These most likely to affect western areas. High temperatures range from 15 to 24C.

Thursday 17/09/20
Confidence remains low into Thursday which also looks to be a muggy and mixed day. Thundery outbreaks of rain are expected to affect western and southern areas with low pressure to the southwest. Drier to the east. Cooler with highs at 23C in the south and 17C in the north.

Friday 18/09/20
Low pressure stays to the southwest on Friday bringing heavy outbreaks of rain to Ireland and western parts of the UK. These will sometimes be thundery. Staying drier to the east. Confidence remains low. Highs ranging from 12 to 22C.

Saturday 19/09/20
Saturday could see low pressure fill up to the southwest as pressure builds from the northeast. Lingering showers to the southwest fade as drier, brighter conditions spread across the country. High temperatures range from 15 to 20C.
