Lots of dry weather, breezy at times in the south, cool nights
An anticyclone is going to be bringing a week dominated by dry weather. There will be cloud drifting around the British Isles at times, most of it to the north and east. It is also likely to be breezy on a few days, generally in southern areas. The east to northeast wind means that eastern areas tend to feel cooler, with near of above average temperatures to the west. Clear skies overnight leading to further frosts in sheltered areas.

Thursday 22/4/21 High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Thursday. This is going to be bringing plenty of dry weather. Lots of sunshine, the best in western areas and through Ireland. Eastern parts of the country are likely to be seeing more cloud and this could be lasting through the day close to eastern coasts. Highs at 10C along eastern coasts, 14 to 16C in other areas.
Friday 23/4/21 High pressure is again in control of the weather. It is going to be remaining dry. Plenty of sunshine for many although some cloud will be developing during the day. Temperatures reaching a warmer 14 to 18C in most areas.
Saturday 24/4/21 Probably turning coler through Saturday. High pressure stays in control and so it is going to be dry. Probably more cloud around through the day and feeling cooler too. Breezy in the south. Highs at 12 to 15C.
Sunday 25/4/21 High pressure is likely to the north of Scotland on Sunday. It is going to be a fair day with good spells of sunshine, especially in the south and west. A low risk of some showers over the high ground of northern England and Scotland. Highs at 13 to 17C.
Monday 26/4/21 The area of high pressure drifts to the west of Ireland on Monday. The best of the sunshine in western and southern areas. More cloud may affect the north and east. A chance of a few showers over northern Scotland. Tops at 12C in the east, 16C in the west.
Tuesday 27/4/21 High pressure north of the British Isles on Tuesday. A chilly northeasterly wind brings cloud, most north and east, although brighter in the west and south. Some spots of rain in the east and north, drier in the west and south. Highs at 11C in the east, 15C in the west.
