Still Cold
Snow In Places

Very cold, especially at first with further snow, but generally less-cold as next week progresses.

Sunday 4/3/18
Pressure stays low through Sunday. A front over Northern Ireland and southern Scotland as well as the far north of England brings the threat of some snow here. Cloud, rain and drizzle across much of central and southern England, Wales and Ireland. Drier in western Scotland. Remaining bitterly cold in northern Scotland, a little milder to the south. Highs at 7C in southern England, 0C in northern Scotland.

Monday 5/3/18
Pressure is low to the south on Monday. Staying cold across much of northern England and Scotland with snow affecting central and northern Scotland. Further rain or showers in southern England, but probably drier elsewhere with some broken cloud. Highs at 1 to 3C in northern areas, 9C in the far south. Overnight frosts.

Tuesday 6/3/18
Low pressure over southern parts of the country brings sunshine and showers. The showers heavy and slow moving at times. A few showers affecting northeast England and eastern Scotland, these wintry at times. Tending to be drier in the west of Scotland. Overnight frosts. Highs at 3 to 8C.

Wednesday 7/3/18
No significant changes into Wednesday at the moment with low pressure slow moving over the British Isles bringing showers, perhaps some longer spells of rain and of which may be wintry still across some northern areas. Overnight frost risk continues. Highs at 3 to 8C.

Thursday 8/3/18
Low confidence but it is likely that low pressure will continue to dominate the weather bringing further showery conditions and perhaps with some longer spells of rain in places too. Precipitation still wintry though, especially in the north where some snow is possible, especially on higher ground. Highs 3 to 8C.

Friday 9/3/18
At the moment low pressure is set to continue to dominate, but with low confidence in the details. It is likely that further showers dominate, but with perhaps longer spells of rain moving up into the British Isles, from the south-west later in the day. Still a risk of some wintry precipitation across northern areas with some wintry precipitation too. Highs 3 to 9C.
