Cooler and more mixed, rain and showers as well as breezy

Turning colder overnight to leave more mixed weather in the days ahead. Lower pressure will be taking control and this will be bringing showers. It may become windy too, especially in the weekend when there could be longer spells of rain, especially in the north. Staying cool and showery into next week.

Friday 5/6/20
Pressure remains low on Friday as fronts pass through southern parts of the UK and Ireland. These bring broken cloud and some showers for much of England, Wales and Ireland, some brighter spells here and there too. Sunshine and showers in northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Feeling chilly for all, and windy in Scotland. Highs near 9 to 18C.

Saturday 6/6/20
Low pressure drifts close to eastern Scotland on Saturday. It will be wet and windy in central and northern Scotland, the rain then slipping south into Northern Ireland and northern England during the day. For southern Ireland, England and Wales there will be broken cloud with scattered showers, the best of any sunshine in the south. Increasingly windy for all. Highs at 12 to 16C.

Sunday 7/6/20
Low pressure is in the North Sea on Sunday. This brings a windy day with plenty of cloud. Periods of rain mand showers, mainly affecting Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland. Fewer showers and some bright spells to the south. Highs at a chilly 11 to 16C.
 

Monday 8/6/20
Low pressure to the east of the UK on Monday. This brings further showers to most, although there will be some sunny spells too. Staying breezy. Highs at 13 to 18C.

Tuesday 9/6/20
Low pressure remains on Tuesday. There will be some showers in the east, and a new arra of low pressure brings fronts and some rain into Ireland, In-between it should be drier with some sunny spells. Temperatures at 12 to 18C.

Wednesday 10/6/20
Sunny spells and some showers through Wednesday. Most of the showers in southern areas, but drier and brighter to the north. Highs at 13 to 22C.
