Friday 25/1/19
Low pressure will be to the north of Scotland on Friday. Fronts will be bringing rain across Scotland, some of it heavy on the hills. Rather cloudy skies across much of England, Wales and Ireland with outbreaks of rain at times in the morning. It is likely that a few bright spells may develop particularly across parts of the Midlands and northeast England during the afternoon. Western parts of Ireland are always prone to outbreaks of rain. A fresh westerly breeze will be strong in Scotland and Northern Ireland. High temperatures of 8 to 10°C.

Saturday 26/1/19
A mild start to the morning across much of England and Wales with a few bright spells. A cold front will be moving east bringing rain across Scotland early on and then into northern England, Wales and Southwest England through the morning. The rain will be turning to sleet and snow over high ground. Cold and bright for much of the rest of Scotland and Ireland, although snow showers will move into western Scotland during the afternoon. Becoming wet across the rest of England as the front passes east during the afternoon with a brighter, dryer and cold weather then following from the west. Temperatures rising to 9°C across South East England at first but nearer 5 to 6°C elsewhere.

Sunday 27/1/19
A cold day in a northwest flow. There will be good spells of sunshine, but also some wintry showers around western, northern and eastern coasts and hills. More central and southern areas will be brighter and drier. Highs at 2 to 5C.
