A Bit Warmer in the South Later

The upcoming week is likely to rather changeable with temperatures starting below normal before it turns a bit warmer, especially so across the south. While there should be some dry days, there will be some rain and showers and a good deal of cloud.

Tuesday 19/09/17
Today temperatures are near normal and up a couple of degrees from Monday. Eastern and central areas appear rather cloudy. Western areas look dry with best of the sunshine. Rain spills into the west overnight. Expect highs of 15 to 18C.

Wednesday 20/09/17
Outbreaks of rain to affect Scotland, Northern Ireland, north west England and Wales. Fair and dry across the rest of Britain. Warmer in the south. Spells of moderate to heavy rain to affect western areas and Scotland in the night. Expect highs of 14 to 20C.
 

Thursday 21/09/17
Unsettled with a risk of rain. East Anglia and the south east may stay dry. Apart from a few showers in the west, Scotland looks fair and dry by afternoon. Most places will turn dry for the night. Look for highs of 14 to 20C.

Expect a rather cloudy day with a few showers across central and eastern parts of England. Fine and dry elsewhere with sunny spells. A warmer day in the south. Windy in the west with overnight rain. Expect highs of 14 to 20C.

 
 
 

Saturday 22/09/17
It will be a windy, cloudy day with a front perhaps bringing in outbreaks of rain to much of Britain. In the south the rain may be quite light and patchy. Expect highs of 13 to 20C.

Sunday 23/09/17
Any patchy rain in the far south east soon clears. Showers may affect north west Scotland. Most places though should be fair and dry with a rather misty morning to come. Look for highs of 15 to 22C.
