A slack south to southeasterly airflow affects the British Isles, maintaining warm spring weather. Hazy sunshine and dry conditions for most places. More cloud toward the northwest, with a few showery outbreaks of rain possible for Scotland, perhaps locally Northern Ireland and northern England by afternoon, but very hit and miss. Winds generally light. Highs 16 to 22C, warmest in central England.

Friday night
Dry conditions across England & Wales with variable amounts of cloud and haze. Cloudier toward the north and west, with some outbreaks of rain for the north & west of Scotland and Northern Ireland, but quite patchy in nature, and amounts generally small. Light southerly winds. A mild night without frost, temperatures dipping to 7 to 10C, and some towns and cities staying milder.

Saturday
Low pressure to the north produces a westerly breeze across northern areas. Mostly cloudy skies for Scotland and northern England with outbreaks of rain passing west to east, most frequent in western Scotland. Only a scattering of showers for most places with plenty of dry weather around. The Midlands, Wales and southern England staying more often dry through the day. Warm in any sunshine. Highs 14 to 23C.

Easter Sunday
A broad area of low pressure positioned across the southwestern British Isles will bring slow-moving zones of rain, some heavy bursts. These will be quite hit and miss, with some places seeing just a few brief showers, whilst others could see rain for several hours. Mostly cloudy, a little sun. Northern Scotland escaping drier overall. Still mild in the south, highs 16 to 21C. Nearer 10C in Scotland.
