Very warm, cooler east
Dry with sunshine

Tuesday
A dry and fine start to Tuesday morning across much of southern and western England, Wales and Ireland. There will be some cloud in the east and through central areas, making the sunshine hazy. It will be staying dry into the afternoon with further sunny spells. Some cloud and outbreaks of rain or showers will be passing into central and northern Scotland, a few of these heavy at times later. Highs at 25C in southern England, and widely 20 to 23C, but much cooler in northern Scotland at 13C.


Tuesday Night
An area of showery rain tracks south through Scotland on Tuesday night and into northern England and perhaps Wales and the Midlands by Wednesday morning. A chance of a crack of thunder too. Staying dry to the south. Drier weather getting into Scotland and much of Ireland, just a few showers in the increasing northeast wind. Turning cooler for all overnight.
 


Wednesday
Showers passing through central and southern England as well as Wales on Wednesday morning. The risk of a few bangs of thunder. It will be feeling cooler in all areas. Some sunny spells will be developing for many, although always the risk of a shower in England and Wales. Drier and brighter in Scotland and Ireland as well as northern England, but some showers could trouble northeast Scotland. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, 20C in southern England.


Thursday
Low pressure ot the east of the UK on Thursday. This brings a northwest flow. Sunny spells and showers, feeling chilly as well. Most of the showers will be in northern areas and across northern parts of Ireland, together with northwest England and north Wales. More central and southern areas tending to be drier with the best of the sunshine here. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, 17C in southwest England.
