Monday
A south to southwesterly airflow prevailing as low pressure remains to the west. Outbreaks of showery rain from early in the day moving from southwest to northeast and, once again, local heavy bursts are expected to develop for some. These tending to ease through the afternoon but could persist over northern and western Ireland and northern Scotland. Between the showers, and through the afternoon, there will be good spells of sunshine for many. High temperatures at 17 to 23C.

Monday night
Showers and outbreaks of rain persisting overnight across Ireland and for western parts of England, Scotland and Wales. Dry to the east with clear skies here. Overnight lows widely at 11 to 15C, cooler in more rural areas.

 
 
 

Tuesday
Areas of persistent rain are likely to affect many western and northern parts of Britain and Ireland as Atlantic fronts continue to feed in from an area of low pressure to the northwest. Heavy, showery rain with thunderstorms affecting many with some particularly heavy bursts for northern and central parts of England and north Wales. A cloudier day on Tuesday with a rather humid feel for many. High temperatures at 16 to 23C.

Wednesday
Low pressure continues to dominate our weather into midweek with a continuation of areas of rain and locally heavy showers affecting many. Some thundery bursts for northern and western areas. Showers becoming lighter and more scattered to the southeast. Conditions brightening later from the west for much of Ireland, England and Wales. High temperatures at 16 to 24C.
