Monday
High pressure to the north of Scotland on Monday. An easterly flow brings broken cloud and some showers to England, these mainly focussed over eastern areas. Cloudier skies in the far southwest of England and the far south of Ireland. Western parts of Scotland, western England and Wales should stay dry and become brighter during the day. Dry and bright in Northern Ireland too. Feeling chilly where exposed to the moderate easterly wind in the south. Highs at 9C in northeast Scotland, but more widely 15 to 17C away from eastern coasts.

Monday Night
Low pressure approaches from the southwest through Monday night bringing increasing cloud across Ireland and the southwest UK accompanied by heavy outbreaks of rain over far southern coastal regions of Ireland and into the West Country and possibly the far south of Wales too. Winds pick up over southwestern areas too. Elsewhere it's a dry night with some patchy cloud around to the northeast. Overnight lows at a cool 2 to 8C.

Tuesday
High pressure is off eastern Scotland on Tuesday. Lower pressure is to the southwest of Ireland and a front lies somewhere through southern Ireland and the far south of England. This may bring a wet start to the day to the far south of Ireland, southern Wales and southern counties of England. Rain edges slowly north, but becomes more patchy. Dry in northern parts of Ireland, northern England and Scotland. Best sunshine in the west, cooler in the east. Highs at just 9 or 10C on eastern coasts, but 16 or 17C in Ireland and southern England.

Wednesday
An area of high pressure remains to the east of the UK on Wednesday, centred over the North Sea. The remains of a front extend through southwest Ireland, Wales and southwest England bringing some cloud and patchy, light rain here. A dry day across the rest of Ireland and the UK with good spells of sunshine developing for most. Some broken cloud around, mostly to the east. Highs at 10C on eastern coasts, more widely 14 to 17C inland and to the west.
