Friday
Low pressure is to the north of Scotland on Friday with a ridge of higher pressure building to the south. Some showers affecting Scotland, especially central and northern areas. Drier in the south with good spells of sunshine, just a few showers developing here: most areas should stay dry. High temperatures at 13 to 21C.
 


Friday Night
Showers easing into the evening bringing a mostly dry night to the UK and Ireland. Just a few light showers for northern and western coastal areas. Cloudier to the west, clearer skies to the east. Overnight lows at 5 to 11C, cooler in rural parts of Scotland, Wales and northern England.
 


Saturday
Pressure staying high on Saturday, although the anticyclone is centred east of the UK. This allows for a dry morning for most with good sunny spells. However, increased cloud in western parts of the UK and Ireland with the chance of a shower forming here. The afternoon could see some more persistent showers in eastern Scotland and eastern England, isolated showers to the west. Highs at 22C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.


Sunday
Low pressure to the southwest of Ireland, higher pressure to the north of the UK. Cloud and rain edging into southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England through the afternoon. A few showers in Scotland. Drier elsewhere, some sunny spells in the east. Highs at 24C in the south, 16C in northern Scotland.
