Sunny spells for most
Cloudier far south

Tuesday
Cloud across the far south of England and Wales today. Some spots of rain along southern coasts, becoming more persistent towards the evening. Brighter through Ireland and the rest of the British Isles with sunny spells. The afternoon sees little change with further sunny spells and mostly dry conditions. Temperatures around 21C in sunshine across much of England, a cooler 16C in northwest Scotland.


Tuesday Night
Rain along the south coasts of England tonight. Cloudy in the far south too. Cloud increases in Scotland. Clear skies for many areas and staying dry as well. Lows at 8 to 12C.

 
 
 


Wednesday
Cloud and rain again brushing southern coasts of England. Scattered showers for the north and east of Scotland and eastern England. A fair amount of cloud for much of England, Wales and Ireland with some bright or sunny spells developing. More sunshine drifting south through Scotland, again with a scattering of showers in Shetland and Orkney. Highs at 25C in southern England, a cooler 15C as the rain arrives in Scotland.


Thursday
High pressure building to the west of Ireland on Thursday. Lower pressure to the east. A cooler northerly flow affecting all parts of the country. Cloud and some outbreaks of showery rain in northern Scotland. A scattering of showers may affect eastern coasts too. For most it will be dry with sunny spells. Feeling cool in the wind with highs at 22C in the sunshine through central and southern areas, 15C in northern Scotland.
