Tuesday
Broken cloud and sunny spells this morning, most of the cloud in northern England, eastern and southern Scotland. A scattering of showers developing over parts of central England and Wales, as well as western Scotland and Ireland later this morning. The threat of showers then continues into this afternoon, again with broken cloud and sunny spells. The far south of England is likely to be dry. A risk of heavier showers in eastern Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 27C in southeast England, 19C in western Scotland and 21 to 24C for most other areas.

Tuesday Night
Showers fade this evening to leave a fair night with clear spells over much of the UK and Ireland. There will be some cloud in western Scotland and western Ireland, the risk of some spots of drizzle on the coasts here. Temperatures at 12 to 16C.

 
 
 

Wednesday
A weak ridge of high pressure collapses away through Wednesday. This allows for broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells, although a few spots of rain could affect hills of the north and west. More persistent rain moving into Ireland and western Scotland as fronts move in here. This rain then edges east into the afternoon crossing much of Scotland, Ireland and reaching northwest England and western Wales. Brighter weather with sunshine and showers into western Ireland. A few afternoon showers in other parts of England. Highs at 26C in eastern England, 16 to 19C in western parts of the UK and Ireland.

Thursday
A cold front passes east through the UK on Thursday taking a band of showery rain with it. Brighter weather with a few showers follow into western parts of England and Wales. Heavier showers in western Scotland and the north and west of Ireland. Drier and brighter in eastern and southern Ireland. Highs at 25C in southeast England, 14C in northwest Scotland, 18C in Ireland, 18 to 22C for most other areas.
