Thursday
Broken cloud across the far southeast of England today, a risk of some showers here this morning. These fading this afternoon. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland this morning will be pushing southwards, with some outbreaks of light rain in northern Scotland, A few spots of rain in Northern Ireland and the far north of England. Elsewhere it is dry with long periods of sunshine and these last throughout the day. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, 14C in central England.


Thursday Night
Further cloud and some spots of rain in northern and western Scotland. Broken cloud in Ireland and northern England, a few sunny spells here. Brighter across much of the rest of England and Wales with good spells of sunshine. The best of the sunshine in central and southern England as well as Wales. Highs at 2C in Wales and England, 6C in northern Scotland.
 


Friday
High pressure to the southwest of Ireland on Friday. This brings a fair day with sunny spells throughout and it stays dry for most. Always more cloud in Scotland and Ireland, and it could be that there are a few spots of rain across central and northern Scotland as well as the high ground of Northern Ireland and northwest England. Highs at 17C in southeast England, 12C in northern Scotland.


Saturday
Low pressure north of Scotland on Saturday but higher pressure to the south. There will be weak fronts bringing light rain to northwest Ireland and the west and north of Scotland. Drier in eastern Scotland as well as through England and Wales. A few bright or sunny spells in central and southern parts of England but more cloud than recently here. Highs at 12C in northern Scotland, 18C in southeast England.
