Monday
It's a rather cold start across Brittan with a frost. It becomes increasingly windy across Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and Wales as a front approaches the west. Outbreaks of drizzly rain spread into Northern Ireland, western Scotland and western coasts of England and Wales during the morning. Dry across the rest of England and Wales this morning with patchy fog clearing the south. A cloudy, windy afternoon across northern and western parts of Britain with light spells of rain but heavier rain to affect north west Scotland. For central and eastern parts of England it stays dry with morning sunshine giving way to increasing amounts of high cloud. Expect maximum temperatures of 9 to 11 Celsius.


Monday Night
Very windy this evening with gusts to 55 mph across the high ground of Scotland and around exposed Irish Sea coasts. Further spells of rain to come to affect western and northern areas with some patchy rain into The Midlands. The rain will be very heavy across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Overnight the rain clears Northern Ireland. The area of moderate to heavy rain will affect Scotland, western England and Wales. Patchy rain affects central and southern England and it's a very windy night across England and Wales. A milder night to come with minimum temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius.


Tuesday
Gusty south westerly winds across England and Wales will lessen through the afternoon as the veer a cooler north westerly direction. Apart from East Anglia and the south east it's a wet morning across England, Wales ands southern parts of Scotland with heavy rain. The rain affects eastern parts of England in the afternoon. Sunnier weather develops from the west with scattered showers around western coasts. The last of the rain clears eastern England early this evening. Apart from a few showers in the west, it's then dry overnight with gusty winds cross East Anglia and the south east. With less wind and clear skies, it will be a colder night with a risk of frost. Temperatures are expected to be above normal in the south with highs of 7 to 11 Celsius north to south.


Wednesday
Quite windy across central and eastern parts of England making it feel quite chilly. There is a chance of some rain in the extreme south east of England today while another area of rain spreads in across north west Scotland and Northern Ireland. Most parts of the country will have a fine, dry day with sunny spells. Light outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected across western areas into the evening and the night. Dry across central and eastern areas with patchy frost as the winds turn light under clear skies. A windy night to come across Scotland. Expect highs of 8 to 10 Celsius.
