Friday
Another day of sunshine and scattered showers about, these showers most prevalent and at times heavy across Scotland and northern England. Largely dry across Ireland, Wales and southwest England but cloud will soon thicken and rain is expected to push in to southwestern areas later in the day as an area of low pressure pushes in from the Atlantic. Another chilly day with highs between 8 and 13C.


Friday Night
Scattered showers still into the evening but these becoming confined to mainly eastern regions of Scotland and England overnight. Meanwhile, cloud will thicken from the west and southwest through the night with rain spreading in. By dawn rain will have pushed across Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and much of England. South to southwesterly winds will also gradually strengthen. Lows will be above zero for many thanks to the cloud cover but could drop to -1C in sheltered spots across Scotland and northern England.


Saturday
Low pressure just to the west of Ireland on Saturday. It will be an unsettled day with spells of rain, heaviest for many through the morning, rain continuing through the day for many. Turning showery across Ireland, Northern Ireland and northern England in the afternoon. Windy for all with strong winds expected. Staying chilly in Scotland with highs here only reaching 9C, turning milder for England, Wales and Ireland with highs here between 11 and 16C.


Sunday
Low pressure is expected to be centred over Ireland on Sunday. This is going to be bringing another day of blustery showers, some of these heavy. Longer spells of rain will also affect northern and western areas of Scotland and Ireland. A band of rain looks to sweep eastwards across England also. Highs at a mild 18C in southeast England, more generally highs between 10 to 15C.
