UK Forecast - December 13, 2020
Rain and showers
Relatively mild

Monday
Rain clears from southeast England in the morning allowing for some brief drier weather across central and some eastern areas of England, albeit breezy. Later in the day rain will push up into central southern parts of England and spread across the southeast corner through the evening. Elsewhere, frequent showers, some heavy, feed in across western parts of the UK and Ireland, these also affecting southern English coasts. Rain affecting much of central Scotland in the morning but this being confined to more western areas through the day. A breezy day for all. Highs at a mild 8 to 12C.

Monday night
Rain will eventually clear the southeast corner through the early hours. Showers will continue to affect southern and western coasts through the night with drier weather elsewhere. Some clear spells about but expect temperatures to stay above zero. Lows ranging from 2C in the northwest and 8C in the far south and southeast.

Tuesday
With low pressure still to the west of the UK, expect showers to affect western areas but it should stay largely dry further east. A wave pushing in on Monday night across southern and southeastern areas of England will bring rain here first thing before soon clearing. Cloud will thicken across southern Ireland and the far southwest England later on in the day as an area of low pressure pushes through the Celtic Sea. Highs at 7 to 11C.

Wednesday
Low pressure arrives from the southwest on Wednesday bringing strong winds, possibly coastal gales, and outbreaks of rain to many. Heaviest of the rainfall currently looks to affect Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland, but this is determined by the exact track of the low pressure which is still somewhat uncertain. Brighter conditions follow behind the rain. A relatively mild day, particularly in the far south. Highs between 7 to 11C.
