Friday
An area of low pressure to the south of England will be moving north on Friday. This brings heavy rain into much of England and Wales on Friday morning, heaviest in the west. Winds could reach gale force and it will feel cold. Drier and brighter at first in Scotland and most of Ireland, although some showers in the west. The afternoon sees the rain pushing into southern and eastern Scotland, with heavier bursts of rain across northern England and Wales. Rain becoming more showery, although thundery at times in central and southern England. Showers continue in western Ireland and it becomes windy and wet in the east. Drier in the far north of Scotland. Highs at 12 to 19C.

Friday Night
A cloudy, wet and windy night from Friday into Saturday. The heaviest bursts of rain for southern and eastern Scotland, Northern Ireland, eastern Ireland, south Wales and the southwest of England. A very windy night for southern Scotland, eastern Ireland, Wales and the southern half of England with gusts up to 60mph in the far southeast. Staying dry in the west of Ireland and far northwest of Scotland. Overnight lows at 7 to 11C.

Saturday
Low pressure drifts to the northeast of Scotland on Saturday. This brings periods of heavy rain to Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. The rain more showery in western Scotland. Windy with a mixture of sunshine and showers across southern England, south Wales and southern Ireland. High temperatures widely at 11 to 15C, though 17 or 18C is more likely in southeastern England.

Sunday
An area of low pressure drifts north on Sunday taking persistent spells of rain with it. Showers follow to the south, some heavy, and a risk of some more persistent rain for southwestern parts of the UK and Ireland at first. More persistent rain for eastern areas later. Drier and brighter for much of Scotland through the afternoon. Highs at 13C in northern Scotland, 19C in southeast England.
