Mostly dry and sunny
Easterly breezes

Sunday
High pressure to the northeast maintains a dry and sunny pattern across most of the country. An east to southeasterly breeze, strongest in southern regions of Britain, particularly along the south coast. A weak front lying to the northwest may result in more high cloud for western Scotland and Ireland. A risk of patchy low cloud around coasts in eastern Scotland and northeast England. Highs at 17 to 23C, coolest eastern coasts.

Sunday night
A dry night for most areas with a stiff easterly breeze across central and southern parts of England and Wales. Some low cloud may drift on to eastern coasts of Scotland. Cloudier skies to the west with the chance of an isolated spot of light rain for western parts of Scotland and Ireland. Overnight lows range from 7 to 12C.

Monday
Another warm and sunny day for most places as high pressure stays in charge on Monday. A weak front edging into western Scotland and Ireland may bring more high and middle level cloud in these areas, and perhaps a very isolated shower breaking out by the afternoon in these areas. Most places will stay dry all day. A general easterly breeze, feeling fresh near coasts at 15 to 17C. Highs at 21 to 24C inland.

Tuesday
Most of England & Wales are dry with sunshine on Tuesday. Perhaps hazier in the north and west with high cloud. A front extending across Scotland and Ireland will bring more cloud overall here and a risk of scattered slow-moving showers forming, these may be locally thundery by afternoon, but very hit and miss. Light east to northeast winds, feeling cool along North Sea coasts. Highs at 20 to 24C inland.
