Sunday
High pressure looks set to dominate over the UK and Ireland on Sunday too bringing further dry weather with good spells of sunshine. There is a chance of some scattered showers forming over southwestern parts of the UK on Sunday but these should be light and fairly isolated. The best of the sunshine over the island of Ireland and the northwest of Scotland. Temperatures rising to between 18 and 22C but much cooler on eastern coasts at just 15 to 17C. Parts of western Ireland could see 23C.

Sunday Night
Showers will ease into Sunday evening to leave a dry night across the UK and Ireland. Away from the coast, skies will be clear. Some mist or fog patches may form for coastal areas and over higher ground. Overnight low temperatures at 8 to 12C.

 
 
 

Monday
High pressure brings another fair day on Monday. They will be plenty of sunshine and it should be dry for most. The best of the sunshine in the northeast and along eastern coasts. Low pressure will bring building cloud from the west and could bring a spot of light rain across Ireland and the western UK through the late afternoon. Thundery showers could develop for Ireland later. Temperatures widely at 19 to 23C, cooler at 16 to 17C in the east and southeast.

Tuesday
High pressure moves to the east of the UK on Tuesday while low pressure moves in from the west bringing outbreaks of rain and scattered showers. Showers affecting northern and western parts of the UK through the morning with outbreaks of rain for eastern Ireland. Through the afternoon, eastern parts of Scotland and England may experience some heavier bursts of rain while scattered showers affect Ireland and western parts of the UK. There may be some rumbles of thunder at times in the east. Highs widely at 19 to 23C. Cooler to the northwest at just 17C, warmer in the southeast at 24 to 25C.
