Sunday
A fair morning for most of England and Wales as well as southern Ireland. Spells of sunshine, best through central and eastern areas. Little changes into the afternoon with dry weather and more sunny spells. Some thicker cloud in Scotland with the risk of some showery bursts of rain in the west. Scattered showers in northwestern parts of Ireland with bright spells here. Quite breezy in Scotland as well as northern England with a strong westerly breeze here. Highs at 21C in southeast England, 18 to 20C for most, a cool 12C in western Scotland.


Sunday Night
Dry through Sunday night with clear spells over much of the country. There may be an isolated showers in northwest England, western Scotland and western Ireland, but for most the night will be dry. More persistent rain could affect the far north of Scotland and Shetland.
 


Monday
High pressure over the south of the country on Monday. Sunny spells and dry for most with the best of the sunshine in southern England. More cloud in northern England and Ireland, although a few bright spells are likely here too. Thicker cloud in Scotland, and there will be some outbreaks of rain affecting northwest Scotland with low cloud on the hills here. Breezy in Scotland. Highs at 15C in northern Scotland, 19C in southern England.


Tuesday
A ridge of high pressure in the far south of Ireland, Wales and England on Tuesday. This brings a dry day with broken cloud and some good spells of sunshine. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in western Scotland and western Ireland, most of it only light. Eastern Scotland is likely to be mainly dry although always lots of cloud here. Highs at 25C in southeast England, widely 22 to 24C but 12 to 15C in much of Scotland.
