Saturday
Cloud across southeast England on Saturday morning. Some showers or outbreaks of rain in Kent and Essex. Some showers affecting northeastern coasts of England, as well as a few in the far west of Cornwall and perhaps the far southwest of Wales. Most other areas are dry with sunny spells. Little change into the afternoon although some showers may develop across north Wales and the Midlands. Staying dry in most areas, although still some cloud and showers in southeast England. A cool day in northern Scotland at 12C, near average in the south at 17C in any sunny spells.


Saturday Night
A dry night under clear skies and light winds. Some cloud in southeast England, with increasing cloud in the north and west of Scotland as well as Ireland. Generally dry. Lows near 3 to 6C for many with a risk of a ground frost in sheltered areas, closer to 8C in southeast England and East Anglia.
 


Sunday
A cold morning on Sunday. Generally fair with sunny spells and dry weather for much of England and Wales as a ridge of high pressure builds. Increasing winds across central and northern Scotland with rain here as a front pushes south. Rain in Scotland could be heavy at times as it moves south to be across the whole of Scotland and Northern Ireland by evening. Cloud also increasing in the afternoon for England and Wales where it will be dry, although some sunny spells persisting in the southeast. Gales in much of Scotland later. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England, but a cool 14 or 15C in northwest England and Wales as well as western Scotland.


Monday
An area of rain and colder air plunges south overnight into Monday. The rain could be heavy at times as it passes through. Brighter weather follows from the north with strong and gusty winds as well as showers. Most of the showers around northern and eastern Scotland and eastern England. Some showers too over western and northern coasts of Wales. Sunny spells elsewhere and feeling cold in the wind. Showers may turn wintry over the hills of Scotland. Highs at 9 ti 12C for many, but to 15C in southern England.
