UK Forecast - January 11, 2018
Mainly Dry
Remaining Chilly

Friday
A chilly, mist and, in places, foggy start to Friday is expected, but otherwise much of Friday will then be dry with some bright or sunny intervals, but with also variable amounts of cloud at times too, this more extensive across central and eastern areas of England. Winds S'ly light, locally moderate and temperatures around 3C to 7C.

Friday Night
Increasingly wet and windy across Ireland, these wet and windy conditions perhaps moving into far western areas of Scotland and W Wales and SW England later on Friday night into the early hours of Saturday too. Elsewhere though it will be mainly dry with further benign weather conditions, with mainly dry weather prevailing, with clear spells and some mist and fog patches in places. Lows around -1C to 4C.

Saturday
Wet weather across more western areas of the British Isles will become slow moving and, eventually, fizzle out through the course of the day leaving behind a legacy of overcast and damp conditions through the afternoon across W Scotland, Ireland, Wales and SW England in particular. Elsewhere, across England and Scotland, mainly dry with some brighter intervals but, overall, a lot of cloud is expected. Winds remaining light or moderate S'ly, temperatures 3C to 8C.

Sunday
A chilly start once again in places with some mist and fog patches. Through the day it will become increasingly wet and windy across W Scotland and Ireland, with gales developing here. Much of England and Wales though will maintain mainly dry weather throughout much of Sunday with some brighter intervals and variable cloud. The wet and windy weather across the north and west will move down into N England and Wales later in the day. Temperatures 4C to 9C.
