East coast showers
Becoming chilly

Thursday
High pressure west of Ireland on Thursday with low pressure to the east. A cool start again for the north. Showers around northern coasts of Scotland. Isolated showers over east Anglia and southeast England, otherwise dry with sunny spells for most other areas. More cloud affecting much of Ireland. Feeling cooler than of late in the northwest wind. Highs at 20C in southern England, 12C in northern Scotland.


Thursday Night
Overnight, showers may affect more North Sea coasts as well as northern Scotland. Northern and western coasts of Wales are likely to see a trail of showers too. Dry with clear spells elsewhere with lows dropping to 4 to 9C for most, milder across SE England.

 
 
 


Friday
High pressure to the northwest of Ireland with low pressure to the east on Friday. A chilly start to the north and west. There will be a few showers in northern and eastern Scotland, further showers affecting eastern coasts of England. For other areas it will be feeling chilly with sunny spells once the mist and fog patches lift. A brisk northerly wind with highs only at 10C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England.


Saturday
The area of high pressure centres over Ireland on Saturday. Low pressure to the east allows for the north to northwest flow giving some showers in northern Scotland, with a few affecting eastern England too. Dry for most, with sunny spells. A cold start with a touch of grass frost for some leading to a cool day with highs only reaching 12 to 17C.
