Sunday
Low pressure crosses Scotland on Sunday. This takes fronts with it, bringing some heavy periods of rain to much of Scotland and northwest England. A more showery band of rain passing eastwards over the rest of northern England and Wales, into the Midlands and southern England in the afternoon. Some heavy showers are possible. Brighter weather with more scattered showers follows to the west. Temperatures at a cold 8 to 10C in northern Scotland, 12 to 19C in central and western parts, but up to 22C in southeastern England.


Sunday Night
Rain easing for most into Sunday evening but cloud will build from the west through the night bringing showers to western parts of Scotland and Ireland and into northwestern England through the early hours. Overnight lows at 6 to 11C for most. Colder in more rural areas.
 


Monday
Low pressure dominates into Monday with fronts pushing southeastward. The fronts give showers, some heavy especially in northern England, Wales and Ireland. Showers may merge into more persistent rain across eastern parts of Scotland and England through the early afternoon. Breezy and cold at just 9 to 12C in Scotland and Northern Ireland, more widely at 13 to 18C across England, Ireland and Wales. Parts of the southeast may see highs at 19 or 20C.


Tuesday
A northwest to northerly flow on Tuesday. A mix of sunny spells and showers, some of them heavy at times across eastern parts of England nad southwest Scotland. Generally brighter in the west; cloudier to the north. Highs at a cold 9 to 11C in northern Scotland, 17 to 18C in southeast England. More widely highs at 13 to 16C.
