Showers on Friday

Thursday
More sunshine in the east and northern of Scotland and eastern England today. There is a risk of some low cloud drifting into East Anglia and southeast England this evening. More cloud in western parts of the UK and Ireland with some bright and sunny spells. Scattered showers are going to develop here. Over Ireland there will be further cloud with outbreaks of rain throughout the day. Rather murky here. Highs at 14 to 19C, so feeling cooler for most.


Thursday Night
More cloud drifting into England and Wales tonight. This bringing a few showery outbreaks of rain later in the night. Staying cloudy and damp in Ireland with spots of rain and some drizzle. Clearer skies in northeast Scotland and remaining drier here. Breezy on eastern coasts. Lows at 6 to 9C.
 


Friday
Fronts passing west across the UK on Friday. These bring plenty of cloud to much of England and Wales as well as Ireland and producing some outbreaks of rain. More persistent rain affecting western and southern Ireland. Drier weather in Scotland with some bright or sunny spells, the best in the north. A few showers in western and southern Scotland. Highs at 13 to 16C and feeling cool.


Saturday
Low pressure is going to be centred over the country on Saturday. This brings cloud and some showery outbreaks of rain. The showers could be heavy and thundery at times as well as slow moving. A few bright spells between the showers. Temperatures rising to 13 to 19C.
