A much cooler morning across all parts of the UK and Ireland and windy through much of Ireland and Scotland. There will be cloud and showery bursts of rain in much of England and Wales in the morning, these perhaps thundery in places. Eastern coasts of Scotland and northeast England will also have showers, with all places feeling much colder than recently. Drier to the west. This afternoon sees further scattered showers in Wales and southern England, and more feeding in from the North Sea along eastern coasts of England and Scotland. Always drier for most of Ireland and western Scotland, but continuing to feel much colder for all. Highs near 10C in northern Scotland, 16C in southern England.

Wednesday Night
Some showers tonight afecting eastern coasts of England and East Anglia, most of them fairly light and scattered. An area of rain reaching northwest Scotland later in the night. Drier elsewhere with broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells. Col for all in the northerly breeze with lows at 3 to 8C.
 

Thursday
Low pressure is to the east on Thursday with high pressure to the west. A chilly northerly wind affects all parts of the UK and Ireland. Rain in western Scotland and parts of northern and western Ireland in the morning, a few showers in the east of England, but drier for others. The day then becomes more showery for many, most around Wales, the Midlands and northern England. Further cloud in Ireland with some outbreaks of rain. Brighter in northern and western Scotland later, although showers here too. Highs at 11 to 18C.

Friday
Pressure remains low on Friday as fronts pass through southern parts of the UK and Ireland. These bring broken cloud and some showers for much of England, Wales and Ireland, some brighter spells here and there too. Sunshine and showers in northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Feeling chilly for all, and windy in Scotland. Highs near 9 to 18C.
