Cold and frosty start with some icy patches, otherwise a lot of dry and bright, if not sunny weather through the day despite some wintry showers across parts of the north and east. Highs 2C to 7C.

 
 
 


Friday Night
A cold start to the night, especially across England and Wales with frost returning. Cloudier across Scotland and Ireland with rain and drizzle developing here, turning to sleet and snow on higher ground and eventually moving down into N England and perhaps Wales by the end of the night. Lows -1C to 3C.
 


Saturday
Saturday will likely become more unsettled after a cold start with frost in the east. Rain, with some sleet and snow in places is likely slowly move south and east through the day, perhaps stalling through central areas later. A cold and raw-feeling day is possible. Highs 2C to 5C.
 


Sunday
Cold start with frost and icy patches possible. Some wintry flurries possible across parts of east and south-east England, especially during the morning, but otherwise emphasis is on a lot of dry weather developing through the day with some sunny spells. Highs 1C to 5C.
