Saturday
High pressure brings largely settled and dry conditions with plenty of sunshine for many through Saturday, although there could be some thicker cloud cover across some eastern areas of England once again. A chilly start for all but temperatures should climb to reasonably spring like values through the day in the north and west. Highs at 16 or 17C in Scotland and 11 or 12C across southern England.


Saturday Night
Plenty of clear skies overnight although the northern half of Scotland as well as Northern Ireland will see cloud gradually thicken from the north through the early hours. Staying dry. A less cold night than of late but still chilly with the risk of a few frosty patches across most sheltered locations. Lows of 0 to 3C.
 


Easter Sunday
A fair day for many parts of central and southern England and Wales on Easter Sunday though cloud will tend to increase after morning sunshine. A band of cloud and rain will pass south through Scotland, falling as sleet and snow particularly over the higher ground but reaching some lower levels too. Increasingly breezy too, especially in the north. Highs at 5C in northern Scotland, 17C in southern England.


Easter Monday
A much colder day for all on Monday with a sharp early frost expected across Scotland into northern England. A band of rain, followed by sleet and snow to mainly the higher ground but could fall to lower levels in the north, will push southwards down the country overnight Sunday and into Monday. Through the day expect sunny spells and showers, these will be wintry in nature for many, particularly in the north. The showers will be most frequent across northern Scotland. Breezy too. Highs at 2 to 6C.
