Saturday
Scattered wintry showers continue in the north, lot of dry weather though with some sunny spells but cold still with overnight frost and ice. Some wet weather affecting central and southern areas at times though, perhaps with some sleet or a little snow on higher ground. Highs 2C to 6C.
 


Saturday Night
A cold or, across northern and eastern areas, very cold night with frost and icy conditions expected. For many areas it will be mainly dry with clear spells, but thicker cloud with rain and drizzle across Ireland and SW England will move north-east later in the night, turning to snow as it reaches N England. Lows -4C to 2C.
 


Sunday
Wet weather moves north and east this preceded by a spell of snow, especially across northern England and Scotland with perhaps several centimetres of snow in places before it turns to rain later in the day. All areas ending Sunday much milder than of late with likely extensive low cloud and hill fog too. Highs 3C to 10C, highest in the south-west.
 


Monday
Wet weather moves eastwards across central and southern areas of England through the day, locally heavy and perhaps windy too. Mainly dry across Scotland though with some bright or sunny spells. Milder than of late for all, temperatures 5C to 11C, highest across S England.
