Breezy for all

Friday
A cold and breezy morning on Friday. There will be some sunny spells but also showers. A band of showers moving south through Wales, the Midlands and eastern England, these heavy at times. A further areas of more persistent showers affecting northern Scotland. Elsewhere showers will be more scattered. The afternoon sees further showers and sunny spells. Once again the showers could be heavy and thundery, especially in England, Wales and eastern Scotland. Highs at 12 to 15C.


Friday Night
Another cool and breezy night with the northerly wind continuing to blow. There will be showers, mostly in the east with only isolated showers elsewhere. Drier in other areas with some lengthy clear spells. Lows at 5 to 8C.

 
 
 


Saturday
Low pressure is going to be to the east on Saturday with higher pressure to the west. This is going to bring a cool northerly flow and showers for many. The showers heaviest in southern and eastern areas perhaps with an odd thunderstorm. A tendency to be drier in much of Scotland with sunny spells and this drier weather edging south through the day. Highs at 11 to 15C.
 


Sunday
Low pressure remains to the east although overall pressure is going to be rising from the west through Sunday. This should bring a drier and brighter day for many. There will still be some showers affecting eastern coasts of England, and an odd one in southwest England. The majority of places will be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 14 to 18C.
