Thursday
Cloudy and damp in Ireland today with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most of it to the west, but spreading eastwards through the afternoon. Northern Scotland sees cloud and outbreaks of rain, windy here too. Drier and brighter in England and Wales as well as southern Scotland, the best of any sunshine to the east. Little change this afternoon with further breaks in the cloud allowing some bright or sunny spells, although rain in northern Scotland. Further spots of rain and drizzle in Ireland. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, more generally 15 to 17C, 21C in sunshine in southeast England.


Thursday Night
Sots of drizzle in western Ireland tonight, but drier in the east. Some cloud in te far north of Scotland too, an odd spot of drizzle here and there. Drier for most other areas with clear spells. Lows at 7 to 12C.

 
 
 


Friday
A northwest flow across the country on Friday. This brings sunny spells, most of them in northern and eastern areas. An area of showers may be through central nd southern England and Wales as well as Ireland. Further scattered showers this afternoon in much of eastern, central and southern England as well as eastern Wales. Sunny spells and scattered showers in Ireland too. Brighter for Scotland and northwest England with sunny spells throughout. Highs at 23C in southeast England, 12 to 17C for most.


Saturday
Low pressure west of Scotland will be pushing fronts eastwards on Saturday. This brings cloud and periods of rain through Scotland and Ireland. Drier to the south with sunny spells. Feeling warm in southern areas. Highs at 12C in northern Scotland, 20 to 23C in much of southern England.
