Showers west Scotland

Tuesday
Broken cloud and some bright spells on Tuesday. The best of any sunshine will be in eastern areas of Scotland and England. Some cloud and a few spots of rain in East Anglia and southeast England. Showers and gale force winds in western Scotland with some sunny spells ion Ireland. Broken cloud through this afternoon and mostly dry. Heavy showers on western Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 6 to 10C.


Tuesday Night
Dry for most to start the night. Plenty of cloud, some some clearer spells in the east. Gales and more frequent showers in western Scotland. Later in the night an area of heavier rain arrives through Wales and southwest England. Lows at 1 to 3C.

 
 
 


Wednesday
Low pressure west of Scotland on Wednesday. An area of rain passes through England and Wales in the morning, some of it heavy in the south. Showers in northern and western Scotland as well as Northern Ireland . Fewer showers in eastern Scotland. Becoming drier for a times in Wales and western England ahead of more rain arriving in the southwest later. Highs at 5C in northern Scotland, 9C in southwest England.


Thursday
A slack pressure flow developing over the British Isles on Thursday. There may be some morning rain in East Anglia which will be clearing quickly. Further rain arrives in southern Ireland and southern England in the afternoon. At the other extreme of the country an area of snow showers pushes south through northern Scotland. For oter areas there may be some morning mist and fog patches. These clearing to leave conditions dry with some sunny spells. Highs at 7C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England.
