Wednesday
Broken cloud this morning across much of England and eastern Wales as a weak front passes south. There could be an odd spot of rain over the hills of south Wales and the southern Midlands, but for most it is dry. Sunshine and dry in northern England, Scotland, Ireland and western parts of Wales and southwest England. This afternoon sees the threat of isolated showers for the far south of England and south Wales. Dry for all other areas with sunny spells through mopst of England and Wales as well as Ireland,. The best sunshine in western Scotland and northwest England. Highs at a cooler 10C on eastern coasts, 12 to 15C elsewhere.

Wednesday Night
A dry night for all parts of the UK and Ireland. Skies are ging to become clear and for the majority of places the winds will be light. There may be a little low cloud drifting onto eastern coasts at times. More of an east to southeast breeze may affect southern Ireland and the far south of England. Some cloud too in northern Scotland. A frost in sheltered areas with low of 3C on eastern coasts, -2C under the clear skies.

Thursday
High pressure is going to be centred over the British Isles on Thursday. There is a risk of some low cloud over central and eastern England at first, but this is going to be breaking with some sunny spells developing. The best of the sunshine in more northern and western areas where it is also going to be a chilly start. This afternoon sees plenty of sunshine and it remains dry. A few bits of cloud remain in the east. Highs at 11C over eastern coasts, milder for other areas at 13 to 15C.

Friday
High pressure is over the UK and Ireland again on Friday, centred to the east of England. Some good spells of sunshine in England, Wales and Scotland, more cloud in the far west of the UK and across much of Ireland. A few spots of drizzle in the far north of Scotland, but drier elsewhere. Highs at 13 to 16C.
