Monday
A cold front affects southeastern England early in the day, with outbreaks of rain and cloudy skies. Improving conditions from the west, with sunshine breaking through across central areas. A scattering of showers affect western Britain and Ireland from early in the day. A few showers then popping up across central and eastern areas by the afternoon. A moderate southwesterly breeze. High temperatures at 9 to 17C, mildest to the southeast.


Monday night
A dry night for the UK and Ireland. Cloudier over northern and western areas with a breeze here. Clearer skies to the south and east with very light winds. Overnight lows typically ranging from 2 to 6C. Cooler in more rural areas with a slight frost forming in more sheltered locations.
 


Tuesday
Pressure builds across southern Britain and a warm south to southwesterly airflow affects the country. Fronts situated toward the far northwest may bring some cloud and light rain to western Scotland and Northern Ireland much later in the day along with a fresh southerly breeze. Largely sunny skies for central, east and southern England & Wales with light winds. Temperatures rising to 11 to 18C, warmest in the southeast.


Wednesday
High pressure to the southeast promotes a warm southerly airflow again. Remnants of fronts may give cloud and patchy rain for northwestern areas, but most places will be dry with sunshine and light winds. High temperatures at 9 to 20C, warmest across central and eastern England.
