A chilly wind
Scattered showers

Monday
Scattered showers into the east on Monday, blowing in on the north to northeast wind which makes it feel cold. Most of the showers over East Anglia and southeast England though spreading into the Midlands later. Drier in the west with sunny spells. Ireland will also have plenty of sunshine and it will be staying dry here as well. Highs ranging from 7 to 11C.

Monday Night
Showers tend to fade overnight from Monday into Tuesday with most areas staying dry. A few showers may persist over eastern coastal counties of England. Clearer skies to the west with lighter winds here too which could allow for a frost to form. Overnight lows from -1 to 1C for most, milder along coasts.

Tuesday
High pressure is centred just to the west of Ireland on Tuesday. There will be some broken cloud through England and Wales. Some scattered showers too in central and eastern areas, most of them light. Brighter across much of Scotland and Ireland, but some broken cloud here and isolated showers for northwestern areas too. High at 7 to 11C.

Wednesday
Low pressure is to the north of Scotland on Wednesday. A strong, westerly flow in northern and western Scotland brings frequent showers here, some of them heavy. Western parts of Scotland may see longer spells of drizzly rain. Drier and brighter to the south and east with the best of the sunshine in southern areas. Highs ranging from 7 to 9C.
