Morning Call - November 03, 2018
Windy but mild
Wet west & north-west

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 3rd November 2018
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Dry central and eastern areas all day

Good morning,

A deep area of low pressure is positioned over the north Atlantic, promoting a strong southerly airflow across the British Isles today, bringing milder air than we've seen during the past week.

Windy for most places - gales around western coasts. A slow-moving front brings persistent rain to Scotland, and rain becomes increasingly heavy for Cumbria, west & south Wales and south-west England.

Staying dry for the Midlands, south and east of England. Best sunshine in the east, cloudier in the west. Patchy rain encroaches into central areas into this evening, and it will stay wet for Wales and the west.

Today's top temperatures will be a balmy 12 to 15C, and it will stay frost free into Saturday night.

Have a great day.
Garry
