Morning Call - December 06, 2018
Windy & mild
Rain in west

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 6th December 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Mild and breezy with cloud and periods of rain and drizzle in the west

Good morning,

It's a breezy one out there this morning, but with the winds coming from the southwest it is going to be mild. There will be periods of drizzle and rain over western facing coasts and hills. Tending to be drier in more eastern areas, perhaps with a few brighter spells in central and eastern England.

This afternoon sees further periods of rain over western coasts and hills, staying windy here too. Eastern areas will be drier with the chance of some brighter spells. More persistent rain passes through southern Ireland and into southwest Wales by the evening.

A windy and wet night ahead as gales sweep eastwards. The gales could be severe in the west and through Scotland too.
