Wet in the west with a risk of local flooding, drier in the east

Good morning,

Wet again this morning over the west of Wales, the far west of England and the south and west of Scotland. Drier in the east of Scotland and central and eastern parts of England although breezy here. A mild morning again. Cooler in Ireland but generally drier and brighter in central areas, rain in the west.

Little changes this afternoon. An area of rain stays in the west of England and Wales as well as the south and west of Scotland. Eastern Scotland and most of the rest of England and eastern Wales stay dry and mild with breezy weather and a few bright spells. Rain continues in western Scotland.

More rain in the west tonight where there could be some localised flooding. Drier in the east. Also drier in Ireland away from western and southern coasts. Staying mild for all.
