Feeling cold

Some banks of cloud

Good morning,

High pressure is focused over Scandinavia, resulting in a chilly east to south-easterly breeze across the British Isles today.

Dry and bright overall, with plenty of sunshine for most places. Cloudy skies in eastern England at times, and perhaps also east Devon and Dorset where banks of cloud come in from the Channel. Cloud may persist in western Scotland too.

Central and western England and Wales should fare best for clear skies. Tonight will see frost form most widely in western areas where sheltered from the wind and skies stay clear.

Today's top temperatures reaching 4 to 6C, but feeling closer to freezing if you are exposed to the breeze.

Have a great day.
